April House Nursery
Our Nursery opened in June 1992 and was renamed April House in 1995.
The Nursery is situated in well-equipped and spacious accommodation at St Winifred's School in Winn Road, and offers facilities for both study and play.
All activities take place under the supervision of qualified Nursery staff.
Instruction is given in early literacy and numeracy alongside plenty of activities such as music and movement, painting, physical education, singing and swimming. Thus an excellent grounding for entry into the main school is provided.
Children may attend April House on a full or part-time basis.
Part-time pupils may be booked-in at short notice, providing that there are spaces available. Prospective pupils are welcome to come in and spend a morning in April House free of charge - parents should contact the school office.
