Fees 2009 to 2010

School fees are payable on or before the first day of term. Fees include books and stationery. A non-refundable deposit is required on acceptance of a place offer. This deposit will be deducted from the first terms fees. A full term's notice in writing, or payment in lieu of notice, is required before withdrawal of a pupil. Interest will be added to accounts, which are paid late. The school offers a sibling discount of 7.5% for parents of more than one child attending either St Winifred's School or The Gregg School.

The fees are:

  • £  130.00 for lunch

Before- and after-school care

The costs for before and after-school care are:

Before-school care 8am until 8.45am:

· £4.00 per day
· £42.00 per term for one fixed day, or
· £210.00 for every day per term.

No refunds are given for bank holidays, school event days and so on; allowance has been made within the charges.

Fees will be invoiced at the beginning of each term to cover a full term and are payable within two weeks of the invoice date.

It is advisable to book regular sessions throughout the term. Booking forms for sessions must be completed before the start of the term and a half term's notice is required in writing, or payment in lieu of notice, if sessions are no longer required.

  • Activities are planned carefully to ensure children's enjoyment
  • A snack tea is provided for pupils staying for after school care.
  • Homework is encouraged, but no responsibility can be taken for completion at school.
  • Pupils should be collected on time.
  • Due to recent legislation pupils must be at least three years old to be eligible to stay to before or after school care.
  • Occasional sessions are available only if there are spaces,  It is advisable to book regular sessions throughout the term.
  • Sessions previously booked will be charged for, even if a child does not attend.
  • Sessions forms must be completed before the start of the term and a half a term's notice is required in writing or payment in lieu of notice, if sessions are no longer required.
  • Allowance has been made for bank holidays, school event days etc have been made within the above charges.

April House Nursery

Children may attend April House Nursery on a full-time or part-time basis.

The fees are:

Full-time (8.50am - 3.30pm) £1490.00 plus lunch fee of £130.00 per term

April House Nursery is an Approved Southampton Provider. Nursery grants may be claimed for pupils aged three years who reside in Southampton. Grants are payable for four year olds from any area. This grant may continue into our Reception class, depending on the pupil's age.

Regular nursery sessions should be booked before the commencement of the term, so that accounts can be prepared as soon as possible.

A full term's notice in writing or payment in lieu of notice is required before the withdrawal of a full-time pupil in April House.

Part-time pupils may be booked in at short notice providing that there are spaces available.


Prospective pupils are welcome to come and spend a morning's trial in April House free of charge.
