Welcome to the News and Events pages of the Gregg and St Winifred's Schools Parents, Teachers and Friend's Association (PTFA).
At our last Annual General Meeting, in December 2010, we voted to set up two separate sub-groups of the PTFA to cater for the very different needs of parents of primary and secondary age children, so FROGS (Friends of the Gregg School) and "Winifriends" were born.
Anyone is welcome to attend any event, whichever school your child attends.
We hope to welcome you to an event soon.
One year on, we are holding our annual AGM on Wednesday 1st February at 7pm at St Winifred's School. It will be a relatively short event, lasting around half an hour, but it is something we are required to do by the Charity Commission so please do come and support us, meet staff and other parents from both schools.
Our Treasurer is regretably standing down this year, so we are in particular need of someone to fulfil this role. It is not an onerous role but obviously an essential one. You do not need to have accounting experience so if you have a bit of spare time, please do consider taking this role on.
