Restoration of the Gardens in 2005

Gradually, despite many difficulties, the gardens began to take shape thanks to the efforts of the volunteers. With the appointment of Estate Manager, Matthew Hunt, in 2001, great progress was made, and the formal gardens are now restored, apart from the herb garden. The arboretum is still largely untouched.
